Karim Rashid is a well-known figure in interior design, fashion, lighting and art. Born in Cairo, half Egyptian, half English, now Karim practice design in New York. He created design products for a diverse range of clients from Alessi to Dirt Devil, from Umbra to Prada, from Miyake to Method, radically changing the aesthetics of product design and the nature of the consumer.
